This starch paste is great for all paper projects. From bookbinding to scrapbooking, from archival projects to collage, it dries slowly for intricate readjustments and is safe to use with even the most delicate papers. Works wonderfully for Bunka embroidery. Dries clear and incredibly strong yet it is entirely reversible in water. 10 oz tub comes with a screw top lid.
Will not wrinkle or soak through paper or fabric. Non-toxic, acid free and washes off hands and out of clothing easily. Adheres to paper, glass, metal, plastic, wood, and fabric. Nori Paste can be mixed with PVA glue.

How do I use Nori Paste? Nori Paste can be used full strength from the jar using a stiff brush, fingers, glue spreader, or palette knife. Nori Paste is a natural, slow drying starch paste, and is invisible when dry. Nori Paste is water-soluble, even after drying. It is ideal for bonding rice papers, tissues, fine fibrous papers, chine collé techniques, and other projects requiring a low tack, slow-drying adhesive.
How do I store Nori Paste? When opening the jar for the first time, remove the protective film, and discard it. Keep lid tightly closed when not in use. Refrigeration after opening is not required.

Can Nori Paste be used to finish origami models in the way to fix the shape, as for example methyl cellulose is used? Nori Paste alone will not strengthen the models like methylcellulose, as it dries more flexibly. We suggest mixing Nori Paste with PVA glue or matte gel medium to strengthen the paper.
