Gampi Art Paper is made in the Ehime prefecture of Japan. Gampi is a silky smooth long-lasting paper made of fibers from the gampi bush. One side of the paper is smooth and the other side is slightly rough. Create on the smooth side for best results. Not sized, but has natural features that make it perform like it is sized.

Uses: Sumi-e, gansai, watercolor, ink printing, calligraphy, rubbing, drawing, printmaking, collage, mixed media, origami, encaustic
